Jackie & Kristin firmly believe in giving back to the community to make it a better place for everyone. For each transaction they complete, a donation of $100 is made to an organization that touches their hearts.
Jackie is an avid advocate and supporter of animal rights. She contributes her time to running an annual bottle drive that she organizes to help raise funds for worthy animal organizations. She is always dropping off supplies and pet food to the Caledon Animal Shelter and various dog rescues, spearheads the collection of funds and donations from family and friends, plus actively adds her name and voice to endless petitions to make the world a better place for those who don’t have one. Be it dog rescues local and international, raising awareness about the plight of orangutans due to the rise in palm oil plantations in Indonesia, the fight to stop elephant tusk and rhino horn poaching or to educate those about animal exploitation such as in circuses and petting zoos, her passion runs very deep for these causes.
Kristin contributes to local food drives in the areas in which she sells a house, in order to help local communities that rely on the assistance of its residents. She believes every family should have a warm meal on their table and no child should wake up or go to bed hungry. With two small children of her own, she knows how important nourishment is so that families can get through their day focusing on the things that matter most in life instead of having to worry about where their next meal will come from. In addition, Kristin is also an ‘act of kindness’ and lead-by-example person who goes over and above to help people who are least expecting it with her thoughtfulness and kindness when they need it most.
While Jackie & Kristin are passionate about different causes, their underlying belief in giving back makes even a small impact to their respective causes and they look forward to continuing to make contributions to various organizations with your help while inspiring others to get involved!
